Overview

Stylish Names Generator lets gamers and social media users turn plain text into stylish Unicode names for Free Fire, PUBG, Instagram, WhatsApp and more, ready to copy and paste.

My Role

My role covered building the live generator tool in JavaScript and the platform-specific landing pages that bring in search traffic.

What I Built

• Real-time generator that converts text into 500+ styles as you type
• 11 category filters (Trending, Cursive, Bold, Aesthetic, Gaming and more), plus search and sorting
• One-click copy with a copied counter, favourites and a dark/light mode toggle
• Platform pages for Free Fire, PUBG, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and YouTube
• Blog and FAQ content written for organic search

Challenges & Solutions

• Hundreds of styles on every keystroke: I wrote efficient JavaScript rendering so the tool stays smooth on low-end phones.
• Names that break on some platforms: I tested and labelled styles by platform compatibility.
• Organic growth: I built platform-specific landing pages and helpful content targeting what users search for.

Overview

Orvix ERP is a complete business management system for small and medium businesses in Pakistan that need dependable software without relying on an internet connection or paying monthly subscriptions. It is built with Laravel 12 and shipped as a native Windows desktop app through NativePHP and Electron, with all data stored locally in SQLite.

My Role

I designed and developed the application end to end as the full stack developer, from database design and business logic to the user interface, desktop packaging and the licensing system.

Key Modules

• Sales and purchase invoicing with print support and returns management
• Inventory with stock tracking, low-stock alerts and CSV bulk import/export
• Customer and supplier ledgers with outstanding receivables and payables
• HR and payroll with attendance, leave management and salary slip generation
• Expense tracking with profit and loss reporting
• Role-based access control with granular permissions
• Backup and restore with scheduled automatic backups
• Audit logs that record every user action

Challenges & Solutions

• Slow startup: The app originally took around 60 seconds to cold-start. I precompiled and bundled the views and optimised the Electron build, bringing startup down to under 5 seconds.
• Keeping data safe during updates: I built a custom ProgramData runtime so the database, uploads and settings survive software updates and reinstalls.
• Unstable login sessions: I resolved NativePHP session handling issues on Windows so login and logout work reliably.
• Images without a web server: I added a custom storage file-serving route so product images and logos load fully offline.
• Protecting the software: I implemented an Ed25519 cryptographic license system to prevent unauthorised copies.

Delivery

Packaged as a Windows NSIS installer that installs like any desktop software. It runs completely offline, with no internet connection or monthly fees required.
