Nedsdag’s is a family-owned discount retailer with the promise “Same products, lower prices”, selling furniture, appliances, mattresses, home goods, tools, toys and more both online and in store.
My Role
My role covered setting up the store structure and product catalogue, the header shopping features, the promotional homepage, and the financing, partner and in-store pages.
What I Built
- Large product catalogue organised into categories such as Appliances, Furniture, Mattress Sets, Home Goods, Tools and Toys
- Header product search with category filter, wishlist, compare and mini cart
- Browse Categories mega menu plus Special Offers and Best Selling sections
- Promotional homepage slider and a scrolling offers bar (fast delivery, financing, special offers)
- Pages for Financing, Shop In Store, Shop Our Partners and U-Haul rentals, with a language switcher and chat
Challenges & Solutions
- A very large, varied catalogue: I planned a clear category structure and mega menu so shoppers can reach any product type in one or two clicks.
- Communicating value on every visit: I added a rotating offers bar and promotional slider so deals, financing and delivery are always visible.
- Online and in-store customers: I created dedicated pages for in-store shopping, partner brands and financing so both audiences find their path.
